How to get a GoDaddy Account

You will need a domain registered in order to build a website. GoDaddy is the best place to register a domain name. It will cost you around $10 per year.

1. Log into https://www.godaddy.com
2. Enter your desired domain name into the box shown here.  If your exact name is not available, try adding your state two letter code after it.  Keep it as simple as possible.
   
3. Once you have the preferred name, you will send the order to the shopping cart. No need to buy anything else that is offered.  And you only need to buy for one year right now.
   
4. You will create your account at this point. Be sure to keep the emails you receive with your account number and password you create.  I suggest creating a document to save all of your logins during this process, and save on your jump drive and also on your computer.
